Our 23/24 season is built on pieces composed by some of your favorites like Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach, created specifically to display their own prodigious talents as virtuosic soloists and conductors. From the magnetic energy of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 1 to the acrobatic joy of Shostakovich’s Concerto for Piano, Trumpet, and Strings, you’ll hear music that not only held special significance for the composers but also featured those composers as premiere soloists in the concert hall. Through each concert in this season, the impressive physicality of these works, made even more vivid by the intimate, personal experience of chamber orchestra performance, will resurrect the spirit of these great artists and deepen your connection to their lives and their music.
