World Premiere // Annenberg Center Debut // The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia

A unique chamber music experience! Get a drink, grab a seat up close and settle in for an interactive performance as members of The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia play in the round. A host will provide background and insight on each work and lead conversations with the musicians between pieces. The performance concludes with a casual audience Q&A.

Program: Baroque Unbound: Improvisation in the Time of Bach
A spotlight on the sophisticated, panoramic art of improvisation in chamber music of the 17th century and includes a world premiere of a new work inspired by Baroque masters.

Handel – Trio Sonata in b, Op. 2, No. 1 for flute, violin, cello and continuo
Kevin Laskey – World Premiere featuring elements of Baroque improvisation
